I have a user who only wants to access their website via https://subdomain.domain.com/~username/ because they want to use shared SSL. They have installed an application but all the links in the applications are formatted as https://subdomain.domain.com/ missing out the "~username". So when these links are clicked you are taken to a 404 page. Is there anything I can do to make the application work under mod_userdir?

    Thanks

They should not hard code the paths to use the subdomain name at all and only use relative paths for the pages. If they switch to relative paths, it should work.

Of note, because the application wasn't noted (whether self-coded or a third-party product), it's hard to know how it would be handled in that set application to correct to relative paths. If this is something like a shopping cart such as OSCommerce, they would likely be better off asking over at the support forum or support options for that product.
