Exclude Protection does not seem to be working.

    WHM > Security > Apache mod_userdir Tweak > check doman(username) to exclude > save

    restart httpd

    WHM 11.15.0 cPanel 11.18.6-S24739

You have to check the box of the user account in the list, and ALSO add the username in the "Additional Users" blank at the top blank next to "Default Host (nobody)". Don't tick the Default Host checkbox, leave that one unchecked. But DO add the username of the account you checked further down the list.
