If you want to be trouble free, and have billing automation platform that is able to follow changes in your company (as it expands) I do recommend modernbill.
It simply has everything you need, and at least they don't lie to you that some function exist, when it doesn't.

I've been researching the autobilling field for 2 months, and could not come up with a product that offers same functionality as mbill does.
And with lease option 15$/month - everyone can afford it.

The ModernBill Owned License 100 is $100 a year. That's what I'm using. I think MB is good. The support could be better, but they seem to always be working on improvements.

WHM AutoPilot! It's the best! Reseller accounts, dedicated servers, many payment processors, affilate programs, coupons, domain registration, and so much more. It's only $150 now, and goes up to $200 in September, so order soon! :D Great support too...

Not to start flaming, but WHM autopilot will limit you in large scale.

Bear in mind it does support cpanel only, and it's concept isn't really modular. You will be stuck with cpanel , and you have no chance to use any other panel management software since WHM does not support integration with any other platform.
Also they are the ones who are not telling complete truth about the functionality of the software. And when someone is using specific "terms" to hide from potential customer what they lack - it's not something I would consider ever.
It looks nice, but is missing features that should be present since startup: modernbill has it all.

My 2 cents.

To be perfectly honest, MB is pretty hard to set up. But once you get it set up everything's a breeze.

It's not the install that's hard, but the eventual setup of everything. It's got so many options it can overwhelm you.

But once you get the hang of it, and set it all up it's like a purring cat. :D

Never used it, looked too simplified to me when I tried it out. Give me the link to refresh my memory.

I really like the Client Section thing..

Clien section- Using this section, your clients will be able to view and update their client information as well as various other tasks. This section is completely customizable by you to incorporate your own look and feel.USERNAME=client PASSWORD=demo or create your own user in the admin section

I use ClientExec. It has the features that were important to me right now. And it is still being developed.

The problem I had when I was looking was that most of them concentrated so much on integration and automation and forgot about features like billing history.

You should stop looking and just write down what is the most important too you then look for one that meets and/or beats that criteria. For me automation was not even on my list right now...though it would be nice to have that many clients :D

My two cents.

Go with modernbill. As I mentioned it before - it has all.
If you ever decide to switch your payment processor, you have no problem. If you decide to offer ensim or plesk panels - you have no problem.
Flexibility is a key - if your software is able to grow with your company, and accomodate all your needs.
As previous people said, it's maybe bit confusing on the beginning (many options to choose), but after that you are driving Mercedes instead driving cheap car that stops when you push accerelator.

Even if you find setup to difficult for you, there were people on the forum advertising with setup services for 7$.
Try it - 14$ a month is nothing compared to what you get.

I have to recommend WHMAutoPilot...

Great software, but it does only limit to Cpanel...

Daniel Artes: Nothing personal, but i have seen and interacted with modernbill when it was almost nothing.

As people here pointed it out, it has so many options that you would be blown away. Its evolved like anything now and has tons of tons of features. To top that, their support is awesome. I am sure you don't want to buy some product and then go searching for support. Just check their support forums (i am not sure whether its public or not anymore, i think they restrict it only to their customers). But you can surely have a demo through their website.

Incase you want more details or anything, just send me PM, i will see what i can do.

P.S. If you decide let me know, i will try to get u some discount.
