I have modified a version of xSkin and put it in a separate directory. upcp however still updates it even though it is not in the xSkin directory, what can I do to stop the updates to this skin?

Err, sounds simple enough, but where do I rename it?

If the name of your modified skin is "x2" do this via ssh from the directory you put it in:
    mv x2 coolskin

Replace "coolskin" with whatever you want the name to be.

I did. The skin is cloned and in a directory called "nanabite", I thought also that would fix it, but it still updates!
