I'm trying to figure out how to modify an existing account and I can't seem to find any script interface for this (there's createacct and killacct, but no editacct??). I need to change the package (PLAN in /var/cpanel/user/username) for an existing user.

Now, if I just simply change the setting in the /var/cpanel/user/username file for PLAN, the new PLAN is reflected on their cpanel login page, but the individual settings (# of pop accounts, etc) are still the old package. How can I update all the individual settings to the new plan settings??

    Thanks.

After you edit the /var/cpanel/users file, did you run /scripts/updateuserdomains? This needs to be run anytime any file in /var/cpanel/users is edited.

    Code:
    # /scripts/updateuserdomains
There is no script to modify an account the way you want, but this can be done using the API. You may be interested in the following section of the API documentation:
