How can I change the email notification messages sent to the users when they exceed bandwidth or quota.

I want to change the text, not when and how it is sent.

Searched the forum for half an hour but can't find it.

    Think I found it:

In /usr/local/cpanel/src/templates/ there are templates for the emails.

No userfreindly way to change theese I suppose.

Guess the rest of the world (the non english speaking part) will just have to dig deep into the coding in order to get an email sent in a language understandable for the users that are not english speaking ...

Should be nice with an edit function similar to the language editor.

Would be more logical if the text for theese emails would be in the language files, so the user gets it in the language of theire choise.

Maybe in a future version ....

That's actually a pretty good idea. I'd recommend submitting that as a feature request to http://bugzilla.cpanel.net so our developers can consider incorporating such a feature.

PS- Be sure to post a link here so others can vocalize their input as well as receive updates regarding the status of its implementation.

Just a note, when editing the templates, the ones in /usr/local/cpanel/src/templates are considered to belong to cPanel - meaning they will be overwritten during the next update. /var/cpanel/templates is the location to put ones you create. The simplest starting point is to copy what is in /usr/local/cpanel/src/templates to /var/cpanel/templates and edit those.

And, expect more features/capabilities (such as editing within WHM) in the future.

I did attempt to modify the templates on the alternate location but had no result, they still keep going in English.

Also I was wondering if automatically generated responses would be translated to Spanish, I mean whan a message is bounced users do receive notification in english too, is there any way oto have them translated to my language (Spanish)

    translation

I Really like Cpanel, but this is one of the many other "non-english no friendly" issues about it. It takes a lot of hard work to fully translate it.

Other translations like the 'New Account' Info email, whm, etc...

I hope this to get solved ASAP! Cpanel could grow its market for many other places..

    --------------

So, what could we do to change/translate this permanently, since the updates erase the changes?

    Tnx
