I would like users to be able to access webmail via webmail.nnn.com rather than www.nnn.com/2095 because of firewalls blocking port 2095.

I have run:
scripts/proxydomains add --domain nnn.com
and after running it says "no changes needed", but still, I can't ping webmail.nnn.com, and of course I can't connect to it with a browser.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Hi :),

The proxy sub-domains are already enabled in the Apache configuration. You will just need to make sure that the A record for sub-domain webmail.nnn.com exists under your domain's DNS zone.

Hello :)

Do you use the cPanel server for DNS purposes? If not, ensure you add the "A" records for the proxy subdomain entries at the DNS hosting provider of the domain name. You can view the entries via "WHM >> Edit a DNS Zone" if you are unsure of which entries to add.

Thank you.
