Modifying cp_errordocument.shtml

I'd like to modify /usr/local/apache/htdocs/cp_errordocument.shtml, to match the template we've set for the default website page in WHM. If I make changes to that file, will they be overwritten by EasyApache? Is there a preferred way of customising the error pages without modifying that file directly?
