    Hello People,

I have few big files I need to upload to the server - each is 32 megabytes - whenever I try to upload them it gets stucked in the middle and disconnects me - I tried it about 5 times before i noticed something - it keeps happening exactly 15 minutes after transfer began.

So, I was wondering if there's a way to modify that timing..

ohh yeah I recenlty rebuilt apache as it said on the WHM/Cpanel news page and it all started then - I can't even overwrite files in the ftp now..

ohh yeah speaking of it how can I really set it so I could overwrite and more important how do I enable resuming files uploads

ohh yeah I'm using proftpds - u know the one without the "-" sign in it.

    Thank you very very much,
    - Ben Bond Pere

    Solution for overwrite error

    Hi,

Are you using proftpd? If so, open the file /etc/proftpd.conf and add the entry
    AllowOverwrite on

and restart proftpd using the command -

    /etc/rc.d/init.d/proftpd restart

You will not get the overwrite error any more. Hope, everything is sorted out now. :)

    Amal.
