    CPMMailScannerPerDomain is a WHM module that allows you to switch email scanning on or off for each hosted domain if you're using MailScanner in your server.

    As root you can also choose which resellers can use the module.

    More information here: PDF TXT

    Your feedback is appreciated.

    2 suggestions, Juanra: :)

    Change *@domain.com to *@*.domain.com if possible to cover subdomain emails.

    Add an option to make the initial config either default = yes or default = no.

    One of the advantages of mailscanner is that it works inside the smtp server(before aliases and such are figured out) Because of that, you will never 100% remove mailscanner from the process...

    One annoying thing mailscanner does, is intercept all mail, and delay it somewhat. There is no way to make mailscanner behave differently... That is however, a trade-off for some of its features.

    CPMMailScanner configuration

    I'm a bit lost as to what the values are supposed to be in my config.txt file. Right now I've got

    rulesfile = /etc/antivirus.exim

    checkms has me totally confused though. It doesn't appear that we're running mailscanner, is that required? Also where is MailScanner.conf placed by default?

    Under cpanel under add-ons, cpmmailscanner does indeed show up, however if you click on it, it says:

    "Given filename for check_mailscanner is not executable"

    which I am assuming is where checkms under config.txt comes in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    -Nate

    Have you installed a HTML::Template Perl Module? Are you sure? I get the same error when the HTML::Template Isn't installed.

    Bye bye
