    hi all,

can anyone recommend a way to report on the server CPU usage/load and the overall memory used at a particular time.

the reason i want this is to run a report say every 5 mins to be able to see what the server peak times and low usage times are.

    any ideas would be great.

    Damn people!

Learn to love the man command. It is your friend.

    man vmstat
    man iostat

If you do not have access to a *nix server and are just curious as to what the commands are, run a google search on man <command>. There are dozens of sites that link that info to the web.
