Monitor script queue and server load script.

I though a whm script that would be great:

check mail queue and if messages are over then 1000 send a message to admin.

another is:
check server load, if it is above like 5.0 send a message to admin.

Doing it will let the hosting company see the problens before the clients tell us.

If you guys have a script like this in your tutorials let me know.

I know this could be made in a few minutes. I am not sure how to do it. so who has it share with us. It would be great.

I have a script to monitor server load. See link in my sig.

I also have a script to clean the mail queue, a WHM and a cron job version. The number of emails in the queue is a good idea.

Have a look at www.nagios.org. It's not trivial to set up, but well worth the effort. I monitor around 30 servers and get alerts when there are problems. I have attached a portion of a page which shows the stuff I monitor on a cPanel server.
