    Hi,

I have a server A and Server B , i would like to transfer the daily backup created recently from server A to server B some where in server B.

    I have used this command

    scp -P 2200 cpmove-[username].tar.gz root@1.1.1.1:/home/

I changed ip and port as my default port is not 22 , am getting

    Connection timed out
    lost connection

Any thing wrong in my command? Hope some one help

    Hello :)

The command you are using is correct if SSH runs on port 2200 on the destination server. There are firewall rules in place, or SSH is running on another port on the destination server based on the error message you are receiving.

    Thank you.
