Move database to new server with only .frm .MYD and .MYI filetype

Due to i run this command: "chown -R root:root ." I will now have to reinstall my server because I cant access any of my systems or :80 access.
After a lot of considering I have now decided to reset my server and re-install everything.

To my question:
I have backed up whole "/var/lib/mysql" which contains MYD,MYI and frm files. Is this all i need to restore my databases when I have reseted my server?
Sadly I have no .sql backup because my last server backup run 6months ago

You can restore the entire MySQL directory, but note you are going to have to map database name and database usernames to the accounts using the database map tool:
