After my research on internet and cpanel forum, i need you help to understand what is the best practice to move from one server to another with minimum Down Time.

I have a dedicated server and i need to go to a newer and better. Both servers use cPanel/WHM and i found 3 DNS solutions to do that.

    1. Edit /var/named/ and change the $TTL from 14400 to smaller number . If this is the correct solution do i need to change also the "Serial Number" from SOA?. And why the WHM > "Edit DNS Zone" dosen't allow to change $TTL value?

    2. Edit domain DNS from WHM > "Edit DNS Zone" and change from SOA record TTL and/or "Minimum TTL" values to smaller.

    3. Edit domain DNS from WHM > "Edit DNS Zone" and change TTL from ALL A records to smaller.

I need your help to decide what is the best practice.
    Thanx in advance.
