moving a server and license

Hello,

We are planning on moving away from redhat enterprise and using centos 5.1. I would like to setup cpanel on a new centos server, and then move over the websites. Can I just setup a 2 week demo to do this on a different public ip, and then once the server is ready just move it to the ip that we are paying cpanel to have a license on?
