Moving account from one WHM server to another and problems

Hi Yah,

Moving a domain from one WHM server to another at different NOCs. Used the WHM transfer method. Watching the progress in browser and all seems to go well till the last part when the following error comes up and the whole operation fails.

Sorry, the copy failed. Unable to find the cpanel user file. Is the archive missing (cwd: /home loaded northern/cp/northern)?

The account is probably about 1.8Gb in size. Anyone come across this before or can offer a suggestion as to how I can transfer from server to server.

Package it from within cPanel using generate full backup. Download it or move it to public_html and transfer to new server. Drop into /home/ then run restore account from within WHM. Should work.

Transfer like you tried will fail with accounts over 250 MB many times.

Just doing that now...was going to recreate the account on new server and plonk the backup file on to backup disc on new server then restore that way but this way will be quicker
