About a year ago, when I had to move accounts from one server to another, all of my clients/my own sites had to re-create new passwords, as all the passwords defaulted.

I need to move some accounts over to a new server, but don't want to go thru all that again. When moving them with WHM...does everything move with them? Settings, emails, configuration, pages, passwords, etc...?

I'm very reluctant to go thru with this, even though I have no choice :(

On small accounts WHM will move them fine. I've had success using it most every time. Larger accounts had to be moved manually. I have never had the problem you had though.

What kind of problems did you run into with larger accounts?

You can use the scripts pkgacct and restorepkg without any issues..
