I have a whm reseller account

The host has removed the cpanel backup, and whm back up etc

I am trying to move all my accounts to another server with whm

The only issue I have is not knowing the accounts Pop3 passwords

I am quite happy to manually move over the websites and any sql and the pop3 booxes

But is there a file I can copy from the old cpanel for that account to the new as to keep their origonal pop3 password

    Many thanks in advance

    Chris

The virtual mail accounts passwords are stored here

    /home/username/etc/domain.tld/passwd
    /home/username/etc/domain.tld/shadow

If you just copy the entire /home/user/mail and /home/user/etc directories and make sure permissions/ownership are correct it should work fine.

The necessary /etc/vmail symlinks also need to be in place, run /scripts/mailperm

    EMail move

    As I don't have access to \scripts
would i be able to recreate the same accounts on the new cpanel with any password

    then just move over /home/username/etc/domain.tld/passwd

to set the password back to it's origonal

    Regards

    Chris
