I've got a reseller account with cpanel and whm. I've set up a site with its own directory within the main reseller account but now I want to have its own cpanel and login, mostly to allow developers to access it.

How can I do this?

Also, is it possible to have a guest access on the reseller account?

Thanks, I'm new to this.

If you have created the domain under your reseller account, it can be accessed seperately as
http://thedomainname.com/cpanel with that very domain's username and password.

You can not give a guest access to another user to your WHM.

Except this is an addon domain without an account of its own. It's simply another directory in the main reseller account. It doesn't have a username/password, unless you tell me differently :)

Can this be done without deleting the previous setup? It's got databases already setup.

Thanks

You can set up the new account and copy the sub-directory contenets for the add on domain to the new accounts /public_html directory.:)

Will the installed apps still work? I'm concerned about losing the database of 30,000 records.

Generally, the database usename/password will work under any domain hosted on the same server. When you created the databases, you probably created them under your reseller account, so don't delete them. Simply move the files to the new account and change the configs to reflect the new absolute file path where necessary. Do a full site backup before you delete anything just to be on the safe side.
