    Hello,

    Code:
    /home/user/mail
    The above directory stores all email files for every email account under each 'cPanel account', including addon/parked/sub domains. Below is an example structure of /home/user/mail:

    Code:
    root@localhost [/home/cpuser/mail]# ls -al
    total 36
    drwxr-x--x  9 cpuser cpuser 4096 Feb  3 03:20 ./
    drwx--x--x 12 cpuser cpuser 4096 Mar 24 01:02 ../
    drwx------  5 cpuser cpuser 4096 Jan 31 06:08 .Drafts/
    drwx------  5 cpuser cpuser 4096 Jan 31 06:08 .Sent/
    drwx------  5 cpuser cpuser 4096 Jan 31 04:58 .Trash/
    lrwxrwxrwx  1 cpuser cpuser   18 Feb  3 03:20 .test1\@cpuser_com -> cpuser.com/test1/
    drwxr-x--x  3 cpuser cpuser 4096 Feb  3 03:20 cpuser.com/
    drwx------  2 cpuser cpuser 4096 Jan 31 04:58 cur/
    drwx------  2 cpuser cpuser 4096 Jan 31 04:58 new/
    drwx------  2 cpuser cpuser 4096 Jan 31 04:58 tmp/
    You will notice that the above directory structure is that of a maildir structure separated into folders. Each domain/addon domain will have it's own folder here. cpuser.com is the domain on this account so the email accounts under this domain will be in this folder; test1 is the email account that is existing currently, and within this folder holds the contents and
    folders of this particular email account;

    Code:
    root@localhost [/home/cpuser/mail/cpuser.com]# ls -al
    total 12
    drwxr-x--x 3 cpuser cpuser 4096 Feb  3 03:20 ./
    drwxr-x--x 9 cpuser cpuser 4096 Feb  3 03:20 ../
    drwxr-x--- 9 cpuser cpuser 4096 Feb  3 03:20 test1/
    Thank you.
