We've been using Joomla as our CMS and now we're moving to Wix. How do we

1. make the move in cpanel, (domain: example.org)
2. keep the original Joomla as a backup, (domain backup.example.org)
3. create a sandbox where changes can be made and previewed before being promoted to the main domain)?

Thank you.

Hello @Riverheadlibrary

1. make the move in cpanel, (domain: example.org)
Because of the potential differences in CMS systems how you make the move may be a more complicated question than we're able to answer, this is something the people at wix should be able to assist you with.

2. keep the original Joomla as a backup, (domain backup.example.org)
This portion should be fairly simple, you'd just need to restore a backup of the old site to a subdomain like you've listed here.

3. create a sandbox where changes can be made and previewed before being promoted to the main domain)?
A lot of people use a demo.domain.tld subdomain to do this but ultimately it'd require an additional copy of the new site though your provider may have a way to do this which is easier than manually doing it.
