After reading a lot of posts on this forum and some blogs I am decided to
make the move from suPHP to DSO+Mod_ruid2 on my CPanel/WHM server.

Apart of the increase on speed I like the fact of being capable of using
eAccelerator. However I have doubts regarding the permissions.

SuPHP forced me to work under some strict permissions.
Will those settings work on DSO+Mod_ruid2 ? I like the fact of being capable of
identify which users are eating more resources of the server.

Yes, you can maintain the same file permissions under DSO + mod_ruid2 as you had under suPHP. While it does allow using 666 for files and 777 for folders, it also will allow working with 644 for files and 750 for folders without issues.
