How does one move multiple files in cPanel, the way other control panels allow you to?

can u make the question more clear. do u need to move a directory full of files and other directories ? in that case the "mv" command is just fine.

In cpanel there is no option to move multiple files. It's one by one.

unfortunately my hosting doesn't provide that. They only provide access to ftp and the cpanel.
Does anyone have solution for this?

If you only have those two options - just get an ftp cleint that allows you to open to remote windows and make them both your server (ws-ftp, fxpftp, etc). The tag and move to you hearts desire. Or get one of the programs that is an add-in tp Windows Explorer that allows you to create remote drives as local, (i.e. Webdrive to name one.)
