    Hello,

Lets say i had a cpanel account with the name User1, we have a backup of the public_html folder of User1.

The server hdd died and everything there is lost, new hdd and new WHM install.

We created User2 and what to upload User1 public_html folder to User2 account.

What is the best way to do this so we dont have any permission problems?

    Thanks in advance.

If the number of files is small, you may use the filemanager. If it is large, use FTP instead.

Yes, Upload your files through FTP with User2 FTP login details so that you will not face any issue with the permission and ownership
