    Good afternoon everyone. I am wondering if someone can post the proper method I need to follow when moving my resellers over to a different server.

    I want to give them new nameserver IPS and everything, but when I try to create the new NS on the new server, I get the following message:

    Sorry, the nameserver ns1.domain.com already has the ip xx.xx.xx.xx assigned to it.

    So I thought, ok I will go delete the NS on the other server, so I tried it an this is what I got;

    Sorry, the nameserver ip xx.xx.xx.xx cannot be removing since it is till registered with a ICANN register.

    So my question is, what do I need to do in order to issue them new IPS ? Do they need to update thier records first with the registers?

    Please let me know what the proper proceedure in this case would be.

    I thank you all for your continued support.

    Sincerely,

    Chris

    Edit the DNS zone for that domain and create the nameserver record manually
