moving shared hosting to new vps Problem

Hello guyz

i recently purchased new unmanaged vps
after that i back up my shared account and upload mysql and home dir
before i change my domain name server ,i want to open new vps through VPS ip
but when i access through ip it redirect to defaultwebpage.cgi
although when i try to 000.000.000.000/index.php or another directory then i see error 404 not found
can any one help me
i m totally new in vps experience

You can access the "index.php" or any page with hostname of VPS/IP Once you load any data on following path

#/usr/local/apache/htdocs/

In order to access the migrated account (I hope you have restore the backup on VPS :P) use the link like

http://IP_of_VPS/~username_of_account/
