We are considering dropping Plesk 8.4 (been using Plesk for 5+ year or so) and going with WHM/cPanel but we have a couple of question.

We are aware that frontpage extension is no longer supported by Microsoft however we do have several customers that still use Frontpage on their websites and does cPanel still offer it own support or own version of frontpage extension?

We are setting up a new bigger server and is there a way to transfer from old server running Plesk 8.4 to a new server running WHM/cPanel automatically without having to manually set up each account and all thier emails and websites and mysql db etc? We have about 28 domains and 20 customers on our Plesk server.

    Thank you
    Bill

cPanel still provides support for Microsoft Frontpage extensions. We will continue to provide support so long as there is customer demand for this and it does not pose a significant security risk.

Assuming that's Plesk 8.4 for Linux, that's a fairly new product so I am not aware of the robustness of our transfer scripts for Plesk 8.4. However, we do have a free transfer assistance hotline where we will assist with ensuring the migration from Plesk to cPanel/WHM is as painless for you as possible. You can find more information about this transfer assistance hotline, a free service to anyone with any active cPanel license (including the no cost 15-day test licenes) at:

Thank you for your reply and we are going to go ahead and purchase cPanel and we will submit that transfer assist ticket soon.
