Make sure your servers hostname has a DNS zone assigned to it pointing to an A record.
I keep getting this email from cpanel:
IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname ('name.ofourdomain.com') resolves to xx.xx.xx.xx. It should resolve to yy.yy.yy.yy. Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.
Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you
believe everything else is correct.
You may be able to
automaticly correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for your
hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager
I already added the A entry under DNS functions and after checking it the correct ip address is in there.
I have checked everything in WHM and it all looks ok so I don't know what the problem is?
Anyone else have this issue?
yep, i just checked on that - i see the zone file and it has the correct ip addres pointing to our hostname.
