    Hi,

Can anybody tell me if this is possible?

Set up an account with the name abc.com. Have the ability to give users web space and email accounts as subdomains or directories of this domain name with their own control panels.

The trick is that the email addresses need to be able to be bob@abc.com, not bob@bob.abc.com

So Bob can login to his own control panel and set up other email accounts, like sally@abc.com, etc. He also has access to his own web space.

    Will cpanel do this?

Nope. You can set up subdomains with WHM to give them all their own cpanel, but to create emails the way you want, they have to be created in the domains cpanel. You can always just give them the subdomain accounts and create the pop accounts for them by request.
