Multiple administrators and setting up e-mail accounts

I'd like to know how to delegate some cpanel tasks to somebody else. I can't find a reference to doing this.

I know I could give the login and password to another person, but, having two people with full access and no log of which did what is very bad practice from a security point of view.

What I need to do is allow users to type their passwords in securely so we can set up e-mail accounts for them. If there's an easier way to do this, without giving them access to the cpanel 'create user' screen, that would be a good fix too.

You can create a new account, make it reseller, and give it full root access, that's the easy and right way to do what you need.

I believe the original poster is referring to cPanel, not WHM. It's not possible to create multiple users with separate levels of access to cPanel. Feel free to vote and add your input to the existing feature request for this at:
