    Hello,

I have a question, is it normal for crond to run multiple processes? To me this doesn't look good as the cron jobs would multiply, right?

    root@linux [~]# service crond status
    crond (pid 31922 31916 4548) is running...

Is this normal? My impression is that only 1 crond process should be running at the same time.

    Warmest Regards

    U can run multiple cronjobs

u just have to login as root

    Code:
    crontab -e and press enter
this will open cronjob file infront of u here u can type cronjobs like that
    0,30 * * * * /home/umair/scripts/apache.sh
    50 16 14 9 * /home/umair/scripts/mysql.sh
