Through my webhost I received a cpanel.

Here are the specs I know of:
PHP Version 4.3.2
MySQL Version 4.0.13
cPanel Version 6.4.2-RELEASE
cPanel Build 79
cPanel Theme cPanel X v1.7

I created a message board and it shows me 4 sometimes 5 or 6 of the boards. When I go into SQL Databases, I see only one database. Also These boards tell me:
(Upgrade to phpBB 2.0.4)

Now the other issue is that there is supposed to be in the root folder a folder named:

images, with another folder inside name avatars. I have the folder but it's empy. They have no idea, and only can tell me it's just an error in the cpanel. I'm getting no help from them, so I'm asking is there anything I can do as an enduser to correct this myself.

Thank You,
Cheo S

First your host should upgrade cPanel to version 7.x.x

Second, ssh/ftp into your account and figure out if you have multiple installations of the BB software. If you do, remove them. You may also want to consider installing the BB software manually.

Thank You for replying.

Since I have no idea what is going on I have these questions about you comments, also, can I pay to call your support center to have them walk me through this. I have to make this work right. It's important to me.

How can I install the software manually

It came with my hosting plan, do I have to purchase it somewhere?

Also you mention using ssh/ftp

How is that done? through the control panel?
