    Hi all,

So I'll try my best to describe what I'm attempting here:

I currently have multiple VPS's and dedicated boxes at different data centers, and I would like to setup something like the following:

2 of my boxes (1 in US and 1 in EU) will be the nameservers as well as host websites.
I have an additional 2 more boxes that will only be hosting client websites.

What is the most efficient way to set this all up so I don't have to individually setup each zone file on every server (and so in the future, as I add more client servers, I can do it as easily as possible)?

Or--how would any of you set the backend up in a situation like this?

So basically all traffic would funnel:

    ns1 & ns2.domain.com (US nameserver & hosting box) \
    ===hosting box1,box2,box3
    ns3 & ns4.domain.com (EU nameserver & hosting box) /

    Hello :)

Ideally, you should set aside two servers as dedicated physical nameservers. You could install cPanel DNS-Only on these two servers. cPanel DNS-Only is documented at:

    cPanel DNS ONLY

You would then be able use these two servers to handle the DNS for your web servers. The following document provides a guide on how to configure the cluster:

    Configure DNS Cluster

So, for example, it would result in something like this:
    Code:
    WebServer1 -syncs to- DNS-Only1
    WebServer1 -syncs to- DNS-Only2

    WebServer2 -syncs to- DNS-Only1
    WebServer2 -syncs to- DNS-Only2

    WebServer3 -syncs to- DNS-Only1
    WebServer3 -syncs to- DNS-Only2
    Thank you.

Perfect. After re-reading what I had written, I realized that I was not entirely clear but you got the gist and gave me a good roadmap for what I should be doing. I'll have two of my smaller/slower VPS's be dedicated nameservers at two different physical locations. I just was not completely clear if they should all be talking or just have each server add the two nameservers to the cluster. Thanks!
