I have clients across the USA and around the world.

If my server time is, for example, set to PDT then clients in other time zones may have orders and other data with the PDT timestamp (which from their point of view is incorrect and misleading).

Is there a way of configuring httpd.conf in a way that would allow me to specify a timezone for individual virtual hosts?

I would see this as a problem common to many hosts; how are other hosts overcoming this issue?

    Go on, have a guess
I don't believe you can. For example, I just checked the proftpd configuration options and its TimeGMT directive only works at the server level.

I think that if you wanted that kind of solution on a single server, you'd need to look into Virtual Server systems.
