    Hi,
My server has its primary name with a wildcard SSL cert at *.mydomain.ltd
This is installed for all cpanel services so if I go to webmail.mydoman.tld then I get the wildcard SSL which is fine.

I do however have a couple of resellers. If we go to webmail.reseller.tld the user is given a security warning because the name on the certificate does not match.

I am wondering if there is any way to have the resellers webmail presented with their own certificate if they were to buy one?

I am having this exact issue, now have a Reseller who is requesting I disable forced SSL login to remove the certification mismatches for when he, and his clients login.

It would be good if can have multiple SSL certificates for services which are dependant on the domain making the request.

This could be done using a priority structure, so if there is a cert installed on the service which matches the requesting domain - use that, if not fall back on server default.

That doesn't appear to be a feature request, more a patch.

Is it possible to create an actual feature request thread from this?

That is a feature request that includes information on how to accomplish part of the task until the request has been considered. Thus, it is in the feature request forum and the very first post makes such a request. If you wish to lend support to the request (and by all means feel free to quote the first post that makes the actual request), please post on that existing feature request thread.
