Four weeks ago after upcp, Munin just stopped showing "received" and "completed" stats for exim, it just shows a rejected mails statistics. This stopped working at the same time after that upcp 4 weaks ago, on 5 servers. I just can't find a reason for this.

You can see this problem on the attached graph.

I still can't find reason for this. It stopped showing received/completed email stats on all my servers at the same time after nightly upcp, so it must happend to everyone else... :) but it looks that nobody cares about this... Or it maybe happend only on my servers

Does anyone have idea what can be a reason for this?

Is it stopped working completely or just doesn't show received/completed stats and shows only rejected emails like mine.

If yours stopped working completely there are lot's of fixes for that here on forums.

But it looks that nobody else have this issue like I have on my servers that only rejected email stats are shown.

As soon as I posted I found my problem in the logs (the mysql envs line) and now it's working like a champ.

This is what I have in "munin-node.log" log file:

    Plugin "exim_mailstats" exited with status 1024. --received.value 6
    completed.value 7
    rejected.value 7414
    --

And those values "received.value 6" and "completed.value 7" are never changed while this rejected value is changed in every log entry, and rejected mails are shown on the graphs while for completed and received emails graphs constanlty shows 0.

What can be a reason for this?

If somoene care about this problem I found the reason, you can't have "log_selector = +all" in exim configuration because munin can't succesefully parse such log files. Luckly you can use "log_selector = +arguments +subject". :)

My problem with munin was that folders /var/log/munin and /var/lib/munin got wrong owner/permissions. Changing owner to munin.munin helped a lot.
