i've been googling for hours and tried dozens of different configurations and none of them work.. Munin works, memcached works, but adding a new graph to monitor memcached apparently isnt possible

check this directory, there you find all installed plugins
/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/share/munin/plugins

here you see all enabled plugins
/etc/munin/plugins/

to enable a plugin you have to create a symbolic link, example for the plugin 'mutiping'
ln -s /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/share/munin/plugins/multiping /etc/munin/plugins/multiping

next step is to edit config-file:
vi /etc/munin/plugin-conf.d/cpanel.conf

usually the plugin-files start with a documentation

if you think your config should work restart munin and wait some minutes
/bin/systemctl restart munin-node.service (or service munin-node restart)

after 5-10 minutes graph should be visible and after 10-20 minutes you should see something

if not working check
/var/log/munin/munin-node.log
