After installing Munin, it wasn't showing any data after 3-4 days of waiting for it to compile. Then I restarted Munin and noticed it can't find a perl module. Following was the error:

    Code:
    root@server [~]# service munin-node restart

kill: usage: kill [-s sigspec | -n signum | -sigspec] [pid | job]... or kill -l [sigspec]

Is anyone else running my Nobody Check security tool getting reports from Munin with things like vmstat, and gawk?

Our munin Graph from an LVS

here is a snapshot of our apache servers handling requests via our LVS.

    yeah baby...

400 connections per second... Gotta love that. 20+ servers.

Thanks, so I am going to delete the symlinks I don't need in the /etc/munin/plugins folder.

But how do I restart munin to kick in the changes.

    Thanks again.

    I found it: /etc/init.d/munin-node restart

In fact wow it's easy, just delete the plug ins you don't want and restart.

I can't find munin in the add-ons section. Not in fantastico either. Where the heck is it?

Is it because I am using 7dana theme?

My munin doesn't show me any graph

    I saw this in /var/log/munin

    2007/12/23-13:46:02 MyPackage (type Net::Server::Fork) starting! pid(19856)
Binding to TCP port 4949 on host *
    Setting gid to "10 10"
Use of uninitialized value in eval {block} exit at /usr/sbin/munin-node line 452, <CHILD> line 8.

    Does anybody have similar situation?

2 things. Make sure you have waited long enough for them to generate. And al that you reload the frame they are in so the images are not cached.

If that not it try uninstalling munin from cpanel. Erasing the saved graph files and then reinstalling it.

With a cron, for example Munin does the graphic generation by default each 5 min.

    Code:
    cp -Rf /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/munin/* /home/youruser/public_html/servers/munin/
    chown -Rf youruser:youruser /home/myuser/public_html/servers/munin/
I run that code each hour.

Has anybody upgraded up 1.2.6 yet?

In 1.2.6 a bugfix for the exim_maillog issue was introduced.

Installed Munin. Things ran fine till weekly logrotate.
    Uninstalled Munin.
    Installed again.
    Nothing worked after this.
No matter how many times I do uninstall/install, graphs never come up.

The mysql issue came up when upgrading to the latest stable release
    'cPanel 11.24.4-R34387 - WHM 11.24.2'
Prior to that Stable Release update it worked just fine ... There has been a feature request/bugzilla ticket in for a while now to update munin .. but no response so far.

Just as an FYI, if you run the munin plugin manually, it will display data. It doesn't seem to be parsing that data into the image though.

strange i dont have that exact plugin in my folders, just the following MySQL ones

    mysql_bytes
    mysql_isam_space
    mysql_queries
    mysql_slowqueries
    mysql_threads

What does yours do exactly ?

I ran a few of the plugins manually as you did and they all return results as you would expect but like you say no graphs
