Almost same OS here, same problem. (I have RHEL5.2).

    The installation failed with:
    Code:
    Can't locate RRDs.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl . /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/lib/perl) at /usr/share/munin/munin-graph line 225.
    BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/share/munin/munin-graph line 225.
    Install Complete (munin 1.2.4)

I reinstalled the rrdtool as stated here (http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=86313&highlight=rrds.pm)
    Code:
    wget http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/rrdtool/perl-rrdtool-1.2.23-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm
    wget http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/rrdtool/rrdtool-devel-1.2.23-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm
    wget http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/rrdtool/rrdtool-1.2.23-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm
    rpm -ivh rrdtool-1.2.23-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm rrdtool-devel-1.2.23-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm perl-rrdtool-1.2.23-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm

that didn't help... the @INC still failed... i located the RRDs.pm with
    Code:
    root@miranda [~/incoming]# locate RRDs.pm
    /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/lib/perl/5.8.8/i686-linux/RRDs.pm

I went to /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/lib/perl/5.8.8/i686-linux/ directory and copied it's contents to
    /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/lib/perl

    IT WORKS!

note this hack can be a problem in the future for other RRDs.pm dependent scripts - so keep this in mind =)

Okay, I have filed a bug. Thanks.

    EDIT
I have now filed a ticket instead, as the bug support team redirected me to the ticket system.

    Hi everyone!
I got in touch with the cPanel support team and they fixed the problem. I will copy their fix over here so that it can help anybody else who is having this problem:
    Code:
    wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/perl588installer.tar.gz
    tar zxvf perl588installer.tar.gz
    cd perl588installer
    ./install
    /scripts/rrdtoolinstall
Interesting that simply reinstalling those two fixes the issue. Perhaps the latest version of cPanel has a bad version of one or both of those? Either way, thanks for the help :)

I was getting the same problem on:
    WHM 11.26.8
CENTOS 5.5 x86_64 xen pv on xxxxxxx

The instructions by Mick007 solved my problem, but be aware of:

    If you get this message:
./install: /usr/bin/perl: bad interpreter: permission denied

It means that you're trying to install from a folder that has no permissions (in my case, /tmp). Try to run the commands from your /home/(main_account) directory and it will work.

Also, please be aware that ./install commands takes A LOT of time and CPU to be executed. Something like 30 minutes, so avoid running it during the day.

After completed, you should UNINSTALL the munin from the WHM's plugin page. Then, install it again and the link (Plugins > Munin Service Monitor) will work.

    Thanks a lot.
