MX record

    Hi there,
    I try to make my mail work but i use to take care of the dns and mx record etc ... i am wondering if i need to add the mx record in web host manager or no? i keep getting failure notice when i try to send outside of the site like hotmail account but not if i send within the site anybody got suggestions?

    If your hosting your DNS externally, then all zone information (for the externally hosted zone) should be deleted from your server.

    Ensure that you have an MX record at for your server (domain).

    Your zone information and configuration may be correct. Hotmail may be rejecting it because of an IP address or various other reasons.
