    Hello,

    Client wants to add mx record to 203.45.6.187. We have made changes from whm. When we ping mail.tradervices.com.au it is pointing to 203.45.6.187. Below is the ping result

    =====================================================
    ping mail.tradervices.com.au

    Pinging mail.tradervices.com.au [208.67.217.132] with 32 bytes of data:
    ======================================================
    At clients end the ping result is different, it is pointing to old ip address which is 121.223.228.253. Below is the ping result at the client's end.
    ======================================================
    ping mail.tradervices.com.au [121.223.228.253] with 32 bytes of data:

    Reply from 172.18.80.105: TTL expired in transit

    Ping statistics for 121.223.228.253:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 <0% loss>
    ========================================================

    How will the mx record point to 208.67.217.132?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thank You

    Go on, have a guess
    Is that the real domain name? I ask because I get no DNS records for it at all:

    # host mail.tradervices.com.au
    Host mail.tradervices.com.au not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

    Please make sure that you have setup the MX record correctly from WHM. It should be like below:

    domain.com. mx 0 mail.domain.com.
    mail.domain.com. A IP address
