Hello,

I have been having problems getting a client setup to use MXLogic with a cpanel server. It is a shared server and here is a description of what is being done.

Change mx record for domain.com to the mxlogic mx record.

All mail for that domain gets routed to mxlogic who then filters it for spam, virus, inappropriate content, etc...

mxlogic then forwards the mail back to the server using the ip address of the server.

At first there was an issue of all email being blocked from mxlogic because they are not allowed to relay so I put the ip addresses for mxlogic in a file called alwaysrelay in /etc/alwaysrelay , then I restarted exim and the mail seemed to be going through for a moment until I started seeing the following error:

2006-10-20 01:09:08 1GanZ0-0006zh-Dg ** test@*******.com R=lookuphost T=remote_smtp: SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<test@******.com>: host ******.com.inbound15.mxlogic.net [***.**.*.**]: 554 Denied [IPR] (Mode: normal)

That's where I am stuck at this point, not sure where to go from here. I know there are others using mxlogic but I have been unable to find any sound assistance getting it to work.

If anyone has any experience using it I would greatly appreciate your assistance and would even hire someone to offer guidance for an actual solution that works.

Thank you,
