    Hi,

I have designed the 2d skin:

    http://4design.tv/cpanelskin/skin.htm

(I want to sell 20 copies of my work). Screenshot is 240 Kb, sorry: coded version is optimized for web.

    Does it look good?

    Thanks for feedback,
    Nat

Hey, "Skin making" appears to be the "in" thing.

Take an ordinary 3D skin, hit it with a frying pan so it becomes 2D and sell it.

A I forgot limit yourself to a certain number of copies (so you can sell limited editions like an artist), thus giving your product a certain aire and then baldly charge $95 for this.

All what is missing is to show us the grinning face when walking all the way to the bank.

    As to the limited edition.

Because one just needs $2000 for something and not more - just make it limited edition
What difference does it make and how would we know otherwise.
    Just another marketing ploy!!!

Sorry mate you have to get up a bit earlier if you wish to convince me that I should spend $100 for your product and that it is what I always wanted.

You can buy entire WHMs for Linux for this kind of money.

    All I am thinking is.
Yeah it looks nice - So what???

All I would do by buying your skin, is to satisfy my own ego.
To my customer it will not make any blind bit of notice if he or she takes my service and I would have $100 less in my pocket.
In any business you have to spend money to make money.
    It's called investment.
So where and how do I make money from buying your skin?
Does it make my work more productive? Or my customers?
    No it doesn't - so it's a bad investment - therefore it's money wasted!!

But I tell you one way a skin would be worth $100.
Create a group at the top like favourites into which you can drag/drop and lock copies of icons of the other groups.
This way one would have the most commonly used one in one Favourite group.
Now this would be an improvement - although using some self criticism. Maybe it's not so much use in Cpanel as it would be in a WHM Theme.

I guess what it boils down to is the priorities in which order one decides to spend money.
So it's a personal choice - but it ain't mine.

My recomendation to you other guys out there.
Don't buy on impulse. Leave it for a while. 2 weeks - 4weeks but keep comming back and ask yourself every time
    "do I really need it?"
If the answer after 4 weeks is still YES - then go out and buy it.
Otherwise take the money saved and spend half of it on your better half. This will no doubt be more benificial to you than spending it on a skin. :D

The best looking graphical element on your 2D sample page is the pricetag graphic. :D :D
I liked it a lot. This will come usefull at some stage.

:D You are writer I see. Thanks :)

It's difficult to say why peoples buy something nice? :)

I like jeans but I never buy Levis or Wrangler and I choose Valentino.

I like Internet but I never visit any ugly sites.

I never choose hoster like extremeis.net and I'will trust hostrocket.com . If someone has spent only $100 for own site it means he is just a poor guy, and may be he has to be donated by me but he dosn't need me as a client.

I am not alone and many peoples love beautiful things. That's why I creat all my designs.

    Thanks, :D
