    Hi,
after a restore of my server, i have restored all my accounts also.

Then this operation i have noticed that some accounts occupy more web space than before the restore. Comparing the 2 servers i have, for example:

    (OLD SERVER) file.shtml 4 Kb

(NEW SERVER) file.shtml 8 Kb (It's the same file!!)

How is it possibile? What's wrong?

    Thank you

Are the disks a different size or architecture? If so, then it'll be the file block size - read up about it on the web since it's no related to cPanel.

What do you mean for "architecture"?

Is it different if the HD is SCSI or IDE?

    Thank you

Yes, it is. As I said, you'll have to read up about block sizes to understand why you'll have different minimum file sizes.
