Hello. I have a script called durring startup in the /etc/rc.local file which activates my custom firewall. However, after the server has been running for a while, I find that my custom firewall rules are gone, and a new 'acctboth' chain appears. I have discovered that the 'acctboth' chain is being used by bandwidth monitoring. On our other servers, this chain is inserted into the firewall and does not interfear with the other rules that are already setup. Does anybody know why on this one particular server the 'acctboth' rule deletes the other rules, and how to stop that from occuring? The only difference is that this server is running Fedora Core 4, while the others are all CentOS 4.4.
Thanks.
Thanks.
