My FTP account does not work?

    I can make a ftp account it does not work for filezilla
    maybe i can not create a correctly ftp account
    first,i click on ftp account and give login name password and directory
    and click on create ftp account after this i see a ftp account is created then i click on Configure
    FTP Client it give some information like user name and ftp server when i copy paste the info in my filezilla
    it give error
    Status: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".
    Error: Could not connect to server

    I think my ftp server is not correct.please tell me about this.
    can i make something more?????????????

    We might assume here that you copy/pasted incorrectly. Try typing the details in instead, and see if that gets you going.

    Maybe your IP is blocked. Also try connecting with user@domain.com as the username.

    You should also ensure that your domain names resolves to your server. Otherwise, enter the IP address directly in your FTP client.

    what ip address?
    My ftp server name look like this...
    ftp.domainname.com
    I make other ftp account all have same names.

    The main user on the cPanel account can login with his username, but any addon FTP accounts must use this: username@domainname.com for their login username.

    The address to login can be any of these:
    ftp.domainname.com
    domainname.com
    or the IP address of the server.

    Port 21

    my ftp account is like that
    ftp.domainname.com
    username@domain.com
    password
    port 21
    it does not work.

    Since you just created it, how much trouble would it be for you to kill it, and then recreate it one more time. You could try these steps listed in your cPanel for configuring Filezilla:

    There are no .htaccess and ftpquota file in my subdomain?

    Hi,
    I make a new subdomain but in my sub domain folder there is not .htaccess and .ftpquota file
    I can click on show hidden file dot file but I can't see any of these file.
    there are steps where i create a subdomain.
    1.login cpanel
    2.click on subdomain
    3.name of subdomain
    4.directory of subdomain folder.
    5.click to create a subdomain.
    can i create a subdomain in right way?
    my friend create a subdomain in my hosting here are these file but in my subdoamin not why?
    please guide me.

    You should probably get in touch with your Hosting provider about this.
