HI, i dont know why, but the server is writing the logfiles wrong, look the name and data of each log:

    Code:

       8 -rw------- 1 root root 144 Dec 30 00:01 boot.log.4

       4 -rw------- 1 root root 0 Jan 22 04:03 maillog

For example, the system should be writting on messages and not on messages.3

Someone knows what to do? i never saw this before.

    Thank you!

    Go on, have a guess
It's not doing the postrotate properly. Try:

    service syslog restart
