You have to investigate .. to find the actual issue..

Check for the apache status using

    ps -aux | grep httpd

Also try restarting both exim and httpd from shell and see if it is giving out ay error..You have to proceed according to what you find ..

Oh... you should have acted a bit more faster.. or sought the help of an admin..
Anyway nothing much can be done now.. contact the datacenter.. get the server rebooted . and then investigate and act before it is going out of control again

The server is back and running. It took about an hour, but it's back. Now how can i trace what had caused the problem, so it does not happen again or if it happenes again.
    Thanks

Your question is rather complex, and is similar to asking for help to repair your car engine. It's not something you can learn easily in a forum thread, and takes years of experience and learning.

    You have two options:

    1) Hire an admin. http://www.acunett.com/management is recommended.

    2) Go to your local libary and get a book called, "Server admin for dummies". It will give you a good starting point. (The name of the book is NOT an insult... it's actually the name of the book.)

    Good luck!

    Hello,

Did you try to restart the apache service from whm, if not try it now. Also you can start the apace service from ssh using the following command
    /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start
