    Hiya...

I have read throw this forum and cant find any reference to this...

If a user or root logs in to phpMyAdmin and clicks the logout then i get an error

    Wrong username/password. Access denied

    I did find this

[3.1] When using HTTP authentication, an user who logged out can not relogin in with the same nick.

This is related to the authentication mechanism (protocol) used by phpMyAdmin. To bypass this problem: just close all the opened browser windows and then go back to phpMyAdmin. You should be able to log in again.

So my question is am i and my users ment to get this error message...

My server is using HTTP authentication

Thanks for taking the time to read this post...

I'm observing same. Any enlightenment on this issue?

    cPanel Build 10.9.0-RELEASE 118
    MySQL version 4.1.21-standard
    phpMyAdmin 2.9.0.2
    Apache version 1.3.37 (Unix)
    PHP version 4.4.4
    Linux Kernel version 2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp

Also observe same issue on another installation running PHP v.5.16
